ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

We DO NOT teach kids!  Our curriculum covers all areas of traditional Japanese warfare which is not suited for young children, such as: hand to hand combat, blade and stick fighting, use of fire tools, water fighting, camouflage and concealment as well as tracking and hunting skills.  We spar full contact in all areas of empty hand combat, and work with live swords during swordsmanship classes.  Simply put, we require that all students are at least 18+ years of age to train in this art.

STEP 1 - Call us and set up a time for a free class, that way you can try a class and see if this kind of training is for you.

 

We do not accept every student that walks in the door.  So if you have a bad attitude, you do not show proper respect towards the teachers and the fellow students, you will be asked to leave. 

 

STEP 2 - If you are granted permission to stay with the training group, you can then start your training with the Budo Ryu Kai.

 

The Budo Ryu Kai prides itself on proper code, loyalty and honor.  If someone comes in and wants to make the class not fun for the rest of the group they will leave.  Only those with a good heart, good manners, and proper respect towards others will be granted permission to stay with the training group.
